As some of you know, I had the great honor of presenting at Paleof(x) in Austin, Texas this weekend. What an amazing experience, and contrary to my worst fears, I actually attracted a good crowd, and my hope is, that I managed to touch a few lives and provided plenty of helpful information.
My talk was on surgery, hospital stay, and recovery. I provided in insight into my own story, but also offered step by step instructions for my audience on how to best prepare for an upcoming surgery. As nervous as I was about walking up on stage, once I stood there looking into the friendly faces in my audience (and my wonderful friends who came to support me!), everything fell into place, and I knew things would be just fine.
If you missed the talk at PFX or if you couldn't make it, please feel free to download my FREE guide. You'll find 21 pages of tips, tricks, advice, checklists, questions to ask your surgeon, and more.
So, what's next for me? I have had a couple of really good questions from the audience, one of which has prompted me to think about my future as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I've also received a lovely e-mail from an audience member, who only confirmed, that my idea is the right one. I feel quite passionate about the subject of surgery and recovery. And I know, that the approach will vary from person to person. Not all people are the same... not all people should prepare the same way.
One question was asked, what I would recommend to women with c-sections. Incredibly, this is something I've never even thought about. But it is certainly a topic, I want to explore further. So that is just what I will do.
What about you? What would you like to see covered? What would you like me to explore further? I'd love to hear your input here in the comments or by e-mail. Simply contact me through the Contact page!
